They said, "Yes, we have testified." [This] - lest you should say on the day of Resurrection, "Indeed, we were of this unaware." Pickthall: And (remember) when thy Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their reins, their seed, and made them testify of themselves, (saying): Am I not your Lord? They said: Yea, verily. We testify. (That was) lest ye should say at the Day of Resurrection: Lo! of this we were unaware; Yusuf Ali: When thy Lord drew forth from the Children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): "Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?"- They said: "Yea! We do testify!" Awful book. That was my conclusion after reading the Quran. Plus I could tell it was just plagiarized from the Bible. It contained too many mistakes and was generally just a compilation of nonsense words, as is demonstrated in this video. From a secular, non-Christian point of view, the Bible is a superior book. The original is the best, as they say.
